blogging hasn't been my favoured thing to do for the past dont know how long since i last blogged. but this post for sure isn't gonna be any nice sweet post. i'm just feeling drained, lost, broken, shattered, angry, confused, astray, meaningless, sad..whatever you name it..

just when i see a ray of hope, the next thing i know i'm in darkness again. i guess this is the best way i can say is happening. and now, i feel like a spell of bad and unfortunate event raining over me "abundantly" so much that i just don't know what to do anymore.

i thought it was all smooth sailing till one day i just felt that i got stabbed by millions of sword and the pain to bear is just the normal pain i can handle. and from then on, things just got worse. at first i made a promise,and one statement by someone made me more determined because then i see hope. and now i'm confused because i don't know what i should do or what should i feel for this someone because deep inside there's only this someone. never have i felt this much passion for a person to the point that everything i do, i want it to be best for this someone. and then a few messages came and all it did was just pierced the swords even deeper.

i'm only hoping this someone would change her mind over what this someone had said and i am, from the bottom of my heart ready to forgive and forget this moment. but its never easy to let go of someone you feel so much fore.what more the feeling that you have never felt before in your entire life about a special someone in your life. i'm sorry but no matter what i'm keeping to my words until i am not able to do anything about it.

i don't think i can say anything more here because im just losing it. and i hope and would appreciate if whoever sees this, just leave me as i am.

i was rounding the city with some friends when suddenly someone raised this question "what does it take to have a girlfriend?" and to my surprise, another replied "money! if you have no money you can't have a girlfriend simply because you cannot support her"..

and the question i raised back is "why is money everything? what can money bring you? can money bring you happiness? so money is the passport to a relationship and without money you can't be in one?".. well, yes i agree that money brings you happiness, but how much or how long? for as long as you can afford her till your cash flow runs dry? to me though, its more of the question of the heart i guess..it don't matter if your partner is poor or rich, handsome/pretty or not so handsome/not so pretty, smart/ not so smart..its the question of are you sincerely getting in a relationship with him/her because you really love him/her as much as you love yourself. "who doesn't want a parent-in-law telling their friends that their son/ daughter in-law is rich?" left me questioning does it really matter?! its like trying to say to those less fortunate or below average families that they're failures and their in-laws should be ashamed of them? com'on give me a break!

OR

is it as simple as it gets?; look at yourself first. do you really qualify for him/her. or does him/ her really deserves you for you?

and all of the sudden someone i start thinking of someone although the little voice at the back of my head keeps yelling "fat hopes"..i succumbed to my conscience and so i texted this someone but i just don't know how to say things right. i just hope that time will play a part in this and through time, i could get this straight. i must honestly say that i am,was, and still is happy that this someone fell for someone. but i am also angry because i failed to do what i have always wanted and still want to do even before i came back from where i was this time of the year in 2008. the reason i came back was because of this someone and i still believe that this someone is the reason but i just can't help but wanting to go back merely to hide from what i cannot do as to what i plan to achieve when i come back. if this someone is reading this, i think you would know who i am because you probably received my text at just past 1am.

here's the genting groupie cast that went up on the day's tour just for the sake of the cool weather. (l-r, clockwise: jia, yvonne,me,ryan,ben,ione)..

so we started off our journey way early in the morning for all of us i'm sure ( just because its not our usual time of being awake). from cheras to puchong to klang to genting.
so we reach genting all looking half dead cause we din't have enough sleep the night before. but as you can see in ryan's expression, things changed..

we had our battery pumped up and recharged by energizer and we were then good to go already!

first off, a decent groupie in a london-style double decker bus in which needless to say some weird-ass dumb stuff happened in there. (jia you know what you did that you had ur *erk hemm* exetended)

and then when it was time to go home, none of us actually wanted to leave especially ben and me cause of the perfect cool weather in which we miss a dozen! but what to do, din't plan to stay anyways! :)

conclusion: AWESOME!!

obviously there are more pictures which are not posted cause for some reason i could not load em up but needless to say, everything was just pure awesome right from the beginning.the people, the company, the funny-dumb-lame-ass moments..all comes out to a perfect day in which more of this should really come.

-pretty much stayed home and completed my major assignment
-rotted the rest of the day
-submitted my major assignment at midnight

conclusion: stayed home and became a nerd although i was reluctant to do so..but i did it

december 20,2008
-woke up, checked email
-GOT A FREAKIN' 85% for my major assignment and overall course grade A..pretty awesome shit although i THOUGHT i could get an A+ ..but an A is good enough i think..enough to make my parents happy..most importantly myself..thank God for that!
-went for children party at church; pretty much lepak and drummed for them
-went for carolling at sri damansara and putra heights. yeah 2 ends of the world.
-got back around 12am and headed for sanjay's 21st birthday bash! was super late but i made it there nevertheless (just in time for the cake). Happy Birthday bro..and to my cousin chris who turns 21 as well. (both 21 both birthdays are on the 21st december but only one difference..one is indian the other is chinese! haha)

yeah submitted my last module assignment and sad to say results dropped by another 1% for part c..gahh!!! but still got at 85 84 on this..not too bad i guess..in order to get 85 for this course, i need another 83% in the major assignment to get 85 overall and get a distinction i see quite realistic. but i want a high distinction and this would mean i need to get 17% out of 18% which is 95% in the major assignment..tough job!! haha..

yeah probably i dint do as well as i thought i could have done in module 4's assignment but i still got a 85 85 for both sides. quite good as individual scores itself i would say but not overall. and 85 86 in the first, 85 86 in the second, 86 87 in the third, and now a 85 85. yeah it dropped but i am still hoping to say in that 85-87 range or EVEN BETTER =) i guess its not too much of a problem with more determination. like its said, work hard and you'll get what you deserve. that's about it i guess. module 5 assignment in the making.

what if you are part of an organization, an organization in which people expect you to do well in every aspect. and in that organization, matters aren't just as organized as it should or could be, and people not wanting to be fully committed as well. would you want to put yourself under those unsatisfactory conditions? and in which job scopes are a mere "instruction" to you. i guess i'll have to say "i quit" based on situations like this. its not like you're doing it as a passion and on a voluntary basis, it is as if you have to do it for the sake of doing it and you're asked to do it. its not something i would commit myself into anymore. it annoys me most of the time i must say. however, the good thing is that decision have not been finalized. until i feel that there are changes that is.

well i thought i did quite badly for module 3 cause it was the toughest and so much reading and half the time i dint know what i was writing. so i did not expect any marks higher than what i got for my past 2 modules. but guess what ??!!

well, today was awesome day! most expensive day ever here in vancouver man..all thanks to one of my best buddy here, eugene tan! went to gotham steakhouse for dinner and had 24oz of bone-in rib steak! and it was bloody freaking AWESOME!! after that went for tropic thunder by ben stiller..another cool movie..and then cactus club!! wheee...i will miss that place man!! but with all that fun, there is a price to pay and it cost about rm350 in total!! and in just like 6 hours of a night out..a day i will never forget!! THANKS EUGENE!!

so, went to the airport last night and sent someone off..woke up today went to school and chilled out..checked the net for any recent marks update and poof! i got a B for English Lit (short stories and poems)..yeah so another reason to celebrate..this semester is definitely a better semester than the semester before! better gpa, better marks, a better student too!! am i happy?? hell yeah!! another reason to enjoy myself even more~~

yes, you all know my math is bad and micro-econs has all to do with math yet, i managed to pass the course with a D..not good but better than a fail for sure!! i know i dint do well, but nonetheless i put in my best effort to do my best! com science? dint expect to do well but turned out wrong! i got good marks i guess..i got a B and i scored pretty good marks in my microsoft access which is part of the finals! i got 29/32 for it..and for all this, who should i feel thankful to and for? first of all is God as well, coz without Him, how would you think i would do?? im sure horrible right?!? secondly, my parents for not giving up on me and always having faith in me for making it through all this! thanks to the rest of you who had supported me, but the rest of you who hoped i would fail, FLAT HOPES!!hahahahaha

an eye opener sunday

yes, its a sunday but this sunday was a spectacular one and an eye opener to me!really taught me a lot although it was just a few minutes..so, we had a group of youth led by an english missionary who visited our church today..shared their experience, love and also really taught me how to appreciate god and people more..this group of youths ranged from the age of 12-18 were with us today and they're all from Israel, Palestine, Argentina, Arab and Jerusalem..and they all speak Hebrew..however, i am really amazed by their english as well..flawless i must say!! so they did a couple of presentations and dance for us..shared their life experience with us which really touched me a lot..they are seriously really nice people..although i just met them for a couple of hours but the feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood could be felt..and it only happens because of god!! since when in the media can you find and see that Israel and Palestine can go well together..NEVER!! i guess the media's critics were all wrong!! these youths here come from different backgrounds, races, and even countries, yet they are best of friends i can see!!only through god i can see these things happening..and yes, they were not afraid to declare that only god can bring peace to the world and He's the only reason they are together as a group of youth now! here are some summary of what i made on their testimonies..

Nabeel (Palestine) - accepted christ 8 years ago together with his parent..they were strong muslim followers before..one night in his dad's sleep, his dad saw a man clothed in white asking him to "follow Me"..not knowing what it was, his dad went and meet an imam at the mosque and asked about the man clothed in white..the imam explained that it was Jesus..but the imam said that islams dont believe in Jesus, only God..the imam continued by saying, "yes, it is Jesus but no matter what just dont stop praying to God"..and again for the past few nights in his dad's sleep, his dad keeps seeing the Man clothed in white calling him to "follow Me"..this time he went to a church to look for the priest..and the priest helped them a lot in taking this step of faith..and his dad then accepted Christ and became a believer, later bringing him, Nabeel himself to church with him and he too is a believer now..his mom comes along sometimes but is still having problems accepting it..Nabeel's personal request to all of us was "Please pray for my mom that she too would accept Christ and be a believer and to be saved"..so to whoever is reading this, please join together and pray for him and his mother as he requested us to do so..as he was sharing, i could see tears rolling down numerous people's face and even my eyes got watery..you could see in his face and in his eyes the strong desire in him to help his mom be a believer..i can feel it in him even while we were praying the burning heart of his for God..

Kosta (Israel) - was born in UK but moved to Israel when he was 2. was not a christian before and he became one about 8 years ago! he was ashamed and afraid to tell people that he was a christian because he might get beaten up,mocked or even life threatened. 6 years ago he was at a camp and he said " i could feel the holy spirit just struck me and their anointing were upon me. now, not only i dare to say im a christian, but i am also not afraid to go out and share the word of god with to friends and they were muslims!!"..he also claims that "only our god is mighty to save"..see the power of god when you put everything upon His hands??

Yulia (Israel) - one of her best friend was on the bus on the way to school when they had a terror attack in which killed her best friend. Or (Israel) - a typical jewish guy with a hebrew name with a huge passion for christ and you can see in him when he worships he love for god..believes that only god can bring peace to the world and only through Him that all things can me made possible..

David (Israel) - pretty much preached and said that "we should allow god to put a vision in us and when you allow Him to do that, he will make the way and open up the doors for you"..at only 16, he dares to speak so highly about got and his expression while talking about god is as if you're seeing a famous preacher preaching the words of god! a truly great guy which im glad to have met.

There were a couple more youths that were there that shared as well but they spoke in hebrew..these few were born in argentina but moved away to israel. they were all really nice people and spoke highly of god and stand proud of it!

if you ever come to vancouver and wonder where to go eat? here are some nice places to go
1. cactus club
2. earls
3. red robins
4. fat burger

what to eat there?
1. cactus club - hot wings, served by super hot waitresses at times (most of the time)
2. earls - chilli chicken on jasmine rice, served by hot waitresses most of the time too
3. red robins- whiskey river bbq burger, comes with bottomless fries (it means you can keep eating; not if doesn't have a rear end)
4. fat burger- all their burgers are nice!! but they're just fat

according to my friends and our observation, cactus club and earls have the hottest and sexiest waitresses compared to ALL other food outlet in vancouver. and it is official that BC chicks are the hottest chicks you can find in canada!

these are my local favourites aside from those i always go like japanese or mongolian or labanese..

so much for talking about where to eat..will miss these food soon..wendy's, carl jr and tony roma's in malaysia will never be near any of these you can find here!

oh sneap! im really scared to face my future for now seriously for some reason i don't know. its just some inside conscience that is whispering through my mind that scares me most. but nonetheless, life goes on, but the the bitchy way!
i will miss all my friends here for sure and i will honestly say i dont miss anyone back there as much as i would want to think except for only one person. since i got here, i never felt that malaysia was my home anymore except for where my own house is.thats all! in other words, i dont feel that back there is my home anymore. i dont have the feeling that i once knew you guys or we were friends cause i honestly lost it all over the past half year. i thought that i could rely on you guys to be my loyal friends but it turns out that i only found one and that's the only soul that i really appreciate! -aside from my family of course.
apparently i was told that i am preferred as the big bear compared to a smaller sized whatever-you-want-to-call-me.

CISA Finals here we come!!

for the first time in columbia college's history the soccer team have made it to the finals! never before have the soccer team got through to the finals. it is always at the semi-finals at most and then the team goes crashing out. but not this time. we scored goals as if it was a badminton game or a tennis game. we played 8 games in total and won 7 of it. we lost one because we dint have enough players but it dint really matter anyways as we have already qualified from our group. here's how we fared in all our 8 games:

first game- 11-1 (won)
second game- 7-1 (won)
third game- 11-1 (won)
fourth game- 8-1 (won)
fifth game- 3-0 (won)
sixth game- 4-3 (lost)
seventh game (quarter-finals) - 7-2 (won)
eight game (semi-finals) - 7-3 (won)

as you can see, the scores were unrealistic but it was made real by us! 51 goals in 8 games. i scored a couple of them. not bad for a defender okay??!! i must say the most exciting game en route to the finals is the semi-finals game. a really intense game which required each and everyone of us to give our best.

here's the summary of the game. game kicks-off. first attack and they scored. second attack and they scored again. within the first two minutes of play they were 2-0 up. wtf man??!! we got one back a couple of minutes later. but right after that we conceded a penalty and they were 3-1 up within the first ten minutes. dint give up and we managed to snatch one back just before half -time. so first half score was 3-2. all of us were pissed off at ourselves for letting in cheap goals but our team spirit were still burning in us and to drive us to play harder for the second half. second half started. was a tough half and very intense but guess what?? we banged in another 5 goals and conceded nothing to make the final score 7-3! credits to our players for not giving up at all and scored in every possible attempt we got and to our opponents who made us work our asses off. we got the news that this team beat the brazillian team in the quarter-finals but little did we know they beat the brazillians 12-3. what a game it was. really the best game i've played so far! i was really put under a lot of pressure as the captain of the team to motivate the players and not allowing anyone of us to give up. celebration started as if we had already won the finals as none of us expected our team to get this far! 1 history created- make it to the finals for the first ever time. 1 more to create- be crowned champions for the first ever time in the school's history!

as for my part in the school team, i was new to the college as everyone knows, and had cert from malaysia to prove that i played soccer and was in school teams for the past few years and played competitively. cc's soccer coach approached me and asked me if i could come for the tryouts and asked me which position i played etc. so i went for the tryouts. the next day he posted the selected players names on the internet and mine was on and next to it there was an indication saying "second captain". i thought it was a privilege. first tourney we joined since i got in the team we crashed out in the semi-finals. but this second tournament, i was selected as the captain. imagine a kinda new and youngest player selected as captain as compared to the rest of the team who has been there for the past few semesters or even years. i must say it is really a privilege and a honour, and a great experience for me to lead this amazing group and talented people from all over the world to the finals of this tournament! next task is to win it! will update more later on!

what hurts me the most?

you wanna know what hurts me the most? its when you get the mother of all suckiest feeling right now. im not saying that you should not or should stop telling me this but it hurts me to know that you're going through all this times. it kinda draws my attention from whatever i may be doing to worry bout you seriously; just hoping that you'll be okay soon is already a pain to bear. for now i really wish i could go back this instant and at least bring you out from that misery but you and i know it cannot happen now. not this instant at least- but very soon! just remember i'll always be here by your side near or far to go through whatever you may be going through. i just dont wanna see you going through this times like this facing such misery in life. and i seriously dont like it when you have to get all this. not that we could do anything about it but i just wish it didn't have to be you. just try not to be bothered too much by what others have to say; you can always choose not to be bothered by me as well :) but just dont let all these pessimistic thoughts and feelings get into you okay? promise you'll take good care??!!

a long post

as the title suggest, this is gonna be a long (i think) post. june kicked off with soccer league tourney which is nothing near the effed up one we played last. im glad its not. its much more organized and professionally done this time. getting the news that we've been drawn in group a along 5 other teams and we're glad to escape the other strong team which was drawn in group b. week 1 kicked off with 2 games. first, against vancouver community college and second vancouver career college. the names of the schools sounds strong eh? nah, sooo wrong. first game 11-1 win. i was thinking our just got lucky; second game came and boom!, 7-1 this time. its beginning to look like were good, its just not luck. week 2 came and we played another 2 games which we won- again, this time another 11-1 and 3-0. week 3 came and all we needed was a win to secure a place in the finals and won did we. 8-1 this time but the team we played were better than the other teams but we still outplayed them. tomorrow will be our last group game and a win would mean that we won all our games and secured full points in the group stages heading into the finals. so, goal counts after 5 games? 11+7+11+3+8 = 40 goals in 5 games. average of 8 goals per game. not bad at all!

so much for soccer(football!). had paintball last week and it was nice. went with a whole bunch of school friends and had lots of fun. of coz it cost lots of money as well. overall, good fun.

have been talking to someone back home a lot more lately which i must say im appreciating it a lot more as well. i know our expenses would increase a lot for sure this period of time. but i dont really care. i dunno if you do but im fine with it. i know hard times is what you're facing now and at times you dont even know where to run. like i told you before, if you have anything at all let me know or just go to sleep! *you know what i mean right?. talking with you have also brought back the joy in me and also planting more. it gives me back the confidence and boldness to know that when i get back there, you'll be there :) and vice versa i hope. remember our food marathon deal ok??!!

i know its been almost a week late to say that MANCHESTER UNITED are yet again champions for the second year running..the title is back again in the hands of united where it is supposed to be all along..all salutes to the team and the manager for achieving this incredible 10 titles in 16 season feat and 2nd title in a row after winning last year's season as well..manager of the season? none other than Sir Alex Ferguson..player of the season? Cristiano "twinkle toe" Ronaldo..nothing much to talk about fergie..but ronaldo?? this dude scored in almost EVERY SINGLE BLARDY GAME he played this season..31 goals in 34 appearance!! he also has i think almost a clean sweep for all the awards possible up for grabs..this dude got 8 individual awards and only losing out on the Young PFA award..but it doesn't matter coz he's still good we all know!

next up is chelshit for the champions league finals..i wont say anything and will let the score do the talking..
